Partner, Director of Acquisitions
Browning Altizer
Browning Altizer brings a wealth of experience in real estate investing and a passion for building lasting partnerships to his role at Rivanna Properties. Prior to co-founding Rivanna Properties, Browning honed his skills at Aulder Capital, a New York City-based real estate investment manager.
As a key member of the acquisitions team, he contributed to the company's significant growth in the eastern United States, Portugal, and Greece, showcasing his ability to identify and capitalize on promising opportunities in diverse markets.
Browning's success in real estate is built on his natural inclination towards relationship building. He understands that the foundation of any successful partnership is trust, transparency, and open communication. Browning's approachable demeanor and genuine interest in understanding the unique needs of each partner have earned him a reputation as a reliable and empathetic collaborator.
Browning holds a BA in Economics & Business from Sewanee and a Master's in Real Estate Finance from New York University. Outside of work, Browning is an avid outdoorsman who loves backpacking, fly fishing, and skiing.

His impressive track record includes leading the development of some of the world's most sophisticated government and commercial facilities, a testament to his expertise and strategic vision.
Steve's passion for growing businesses, coupled with his extensive experience as a serial entrepreneur and angel investor, positions him as an invaluable asset to property owners looking to sell their real estate. His wealth of knowledge and commitment to excellence ensure that every transaction is handled with the utmost professionalism and care.
At Rivanna Properties, Steve's primary focus is on shaping the company's overall business strategy and providing oversight to ensure the team consistently delivers exceptional results for their clients. When he's not guiding the company to success, Steve enjoys staying active through tennis and pickleball.
